Elliott Snyder is the co-founder of Old Friend, a brand design studio based out of a tree-filled neighborhood in Portland Oregon. He is also the co-owner of Company, a wine bar in Southeast Portland from the Old Friend team. Native to the the Pacific Northwest, Elliott’s design career started with selling air guitars with “Certificates of Authenticity” to his parent’s friends. Some years later, Elliott worked at the global strategy and branding agency Hornall Anderson, where he gained experience working with brands like Amazon, Pepsico, Alaska Airlines and a variety of others. A love for the smaller, more hands-on projects led him to full-time freelance work and then to the creation of Old Friend with Jesse. He occasionally takes breaks from design to go on trips that are way-too-far in way-not-ideal vehicles.
